Another victim

Norwich's Justin LeBlanc isn't intimidated by my win last week over another reader. LeBlanc, who graduated from NFA with me in 2002, will throw his hand in the mix. His picks are below. If you submitted picks and didn't get selected then you can either respond to one of my blog entries so other readers can see your picks or try again next week.

Also, I need to mention that my picks are done and one of my studs matches Justin's. You will see who it is in Saturday's paper, but I wanted to mention this now so nobody gets accused of copying.

Studs
Tatum Bell, Chad Pennington, Bryant Johnson, Antonio Bryant

Duds
DeShaun Foster, Mike Vick, Joe Horn, Fred Taylor

WOW do i disagree with this scoring system. no way did tony win last week. lets add up the fantasy points, injuries are part of the game. rothesburger got hurt to and that stopped him from scoring 40 fp's. he said hasselback was on his way to a big game, come on 7-17 and one 75 yarder that was a 5 yard slant that jackson broke off, yes part of the game but must be the same for both sides. so with that i say lets add up the fantasy points, cut and dry right.
my studs scored 35 tonys studs 44
tony plus 9
my duds = 45 tonys duds = 56
me plus 11
total me plus 2
if anyone has any other suggestions or input, if you agree or disagree lets hear it

and i'll go on record again this week with
studs
tatum bell
willie parker
andre johnson
rex grossman

duds
atlanta defense
carnell williams
d. jackson
was going to be byron leftwich but he may not play so i'll go with the colts backfield duo of rhodes and addai
see ya

I totally disgree with your scoring system and here is why. You can't just add up straight points.

If someone nails all 4 studs and 3 of the duds, but one of the duds throws 6-7 touchdown passes then that person could still lose even though they went 7-for-8.

I think grading each player is the only way to do it fairly, but I'm open to other suggestions.

ok tony, but your way does not work well. you are the judge, jurry, and executioner in this format.
i propose that at the start of the week you let the readers know what positions your going to pick from (advantage you right there) and then add up fantasy points on a head-to-head basis to determine the win or loss for that pick. it doesn't seem to matter much anyway, you and i are the only ones posting on the topic under the comments.
seems like tatum bell is the unanimous choice for your readers that i have seen. and i'd like to give credit to leblanc for picking antonio bryant, courageous pick, i see the logic behind it but thats a tough match-up
