A hushed crowd

Where are all the doubters? I guess they're busy wiping egg of their faces.

Of all the preseason advice I offered, two of the suggestion that drew the most criticism involved Frank Gore and Jake Delhomme. Some laughed when I drafted Frank Gore ahead of Shaun Alexander and Larry Johnson in multiple leagues, but who is laughing now? I received three emails (including one calling me “an idiot”) telling me how wrong I was about Jake Delhomme having a big season, but those emails have stopped for some reason.

So tell me, who is the real idiot?

its only been 2 weeks my friend....lets calm down a bit and wait til other defenses realizes that Frank Gore is all SF has and he will eventually be shut down

agreed, don't count your eggs before they've hatched. Alexander has arguably been as good if not better than gore up to now, and there's no doubt in my mind that johnson will be by year's end

tony. i disagree with a lot of what you say, however i do agree with a lot also. so i keep my eye out for when we agree on the same players, two of them being gore and delhome. i drafted gore in the beginning of round three. you are saying "wow, thats cheap", but this was last year. i will admit i did take delhome high last year too. so this year i stuck with him and got him cheap, in two of my leagues i got him from the free agency pool. i couldn't get gore this year as you know he was no surprise, but i would have taken him 3rd ( 1. l.t. & 2. s. alexander ) if i had the opportunity. mike andrew-norwich
